Ministries

gospel-centered community

A church bound to and informed by the gospel can effect change in individual lives and spill over into the community around them. To put it simply, our ministry philosophy boils down to what Jesus calls us to in the great commission: making disciples.

Making disciples begins with knowing and proclaiming the gospel as well as building relationships. Our ministry and church are not captive to traditions. As a result, we are left open to where God’s Spirit leads in order to reach out to a changing world in new ways that meet yet-to-be believers where they are at and equip existing believers to grow deeper in their walk with God.

home groups

Jesus constantly did ministry in the context of small groups of people in personal settings. The early church broke bread and did real life together while they studied God’s word and worshiped Him with grateful hearts. Similarly, Home Groups are Faith Church’s primary discipleship tool and the best way to get plugged into real relationships with other believers in this local body.

There are a variety of groups that meet throughout the week in homes, each with around 12-16 people. Groups come together to engage in guided discussion of the message from Sunday, pray, fellowship, and practice the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

faith kids

Children are precious to our Lord Jesus, and they are precious to us here at Faith Church. A variety of opportunities and activities are available to Kids at Faith on Sundays and throughout the year focused on knowing, experiencing, and showing God’s love. All Faith Kids volunteers have completed a background check.

Nursery care is available, beginning at 9:50 on Sunday mornings during the Worship Gathering.

Kids Church meets Sunday mornings at 10 AM during the Worship Gathering. Their time together is focused on learning God’s truths and engaging in activities to help them apply that truth to their lives!

Third through fifth graders join their parents in the Worship Center Sunday mornings to begin embracing their role in the Body of Christ. They also meet the 2nd and 4th Sunday morning at 9 AM for “Faith Followers”, a discipleship gathering especially customized for upper elementary students.

faith youth

Faith Youth challenges 6th through 12th graders to root their hearts and minds in the good news of King Jesus. The aim is to cultivate desire to know God and equip them to pursue, abide in, and enjoy friendship with Him. Faith Youth meets Sunday mornings at 9:00am for Bible Study and prayer as well as Wednesday nights 6:30-8:00pm to engage God’s Word together, build relationships, and enjoy games.

Faith Youth also gathers for fun-filled events and service projects throughout the year. To stay in-the-know regarding schedule changes and upcoming events email Caleb@faithstatesville.org to be added to the Faith Youth email list.

freedom ministry

The Freedom Ministry at Faith Church is a personal prayer ministry that exists to lead people into a deeper and unhindered relationship with God. A group of two to three trained individuals partner with you to seek God in identifying the spiritual, emotional, and physical barriers that may be keeping you from an abiding connection with God.

Led by the Holy Spirit, this ministry team will lead you in steps to reconciliation with God, inner healing, and the breaking of demonic strongholds in your life. God wants you healed and whole, experiencing full spiritual freedom in your life.
